One Genesis is an young Music Producer, Entrepreneur and Manager from Lexington, Kentucky who was born on July 13, 1987 in UK Hospital (Lexington, Kentucky) and raised in Richmond, Kentucky. He moved to Lexington, Kentucky in the 5th grade. His birth name was Desmond Parks, but he legally changed his name to One Genesis in September 28th, 2016.
One Genesis was brought up and got graduated from his hometown Lexington, Kentucky. He is married and has children. His daughter’s name is Italy Love Genesis and son’s name is Kasio Kyn’cere Seoul Genesis. He grew up listening to different genres of music and started to learn production from his older cousin James Parks (Gripp), who rapped and made beats at the young age of 5, starting with the Akai drum machine and later, Fruity Loops (FL STUDIO). This talented artist started making his own production at the age of 7. Since then, he has successfully worked on several projects.
Fast forward to 2010, One met 7 Aurelius (Lexington, Kentucky) through an ex marriage of his mothers and began to learn and work with him.
In 2018, One met Stephon Dupree (American Music executive who is also CEO for Dupree Entertainment) and signed with Dupree Entertainment as a Producer. Dupree Entertainment is a platform which give musicians and music-related businesses the tools to become innovators in the fields of networking, artist development, consulting and project management. The goal of Dupree Entertainment is to build a buzz for their clients and ultimately solidify themselves as a consistent resource and go-to place for artist development.
